Armenian-Belgian Business Week in Armenia started on Novemer 7th, 2011 organized by the Armenian Development Agency jointly with UNIDO which gave an opportunity to the Armenian businessmen to present their investing business proposals as well contribute to the development of trade economic relationships for both countries.

 Business Delegation of 20 belgian businessmen arrived both from Wallonia and Flanders who represetend different industrial sectors of economy.

The Belgian businessmen expect a wide range of cooperation with Armenian  businessmen.
Business Forum took place on November 8^th for the businessmen arriving from Flanders.

Among the business delegation were Geunter Sleuwagen, director and central and Easter Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belgium, Trade Commissioner of  Flanders Investment & Trade in the Embassy of Belgium in Moscow Mr. Andre De Rijck, Mr. Valery Safarian, Chairman of Belgian Armenian Chamber of Commerce. The businessmen from Flanders were representing the following industrial sectors: heat recovery systems and generators, freight forwarder, consultancy for all types of insurances, export of dried beans, industrial telecom, ophthalmology-surgery, metal processingm cable support systems, chemical products and equipments.

72 business to business meetings took place between Armenian and Belgian companies.
