Johnny Hon, founder of Global Group meets with Armenian Development Agency representatives

The founder of Globabl Group Companies in Hong Kong, Mr. Johnny Hon is visiting Armenia on December 15-17^th, 2011. Mr Johnny Hon is accompanied by member of the British House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox and Vice Chairman of the Global Group of Companies Keith Bennett.

The delegation expressed willingness to get acquainted with the investment climate of Armenia and the following industrial sectors-mining, banking and telecommunication.

In this regard, Armenian Development Agency organized a business meeting where the delegation met the representatives with the corresponding sectors.

The president of Union of Banks of Armenia, Mr. Ashot Osipyan, the Chief of Staff of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Karen Ghahramanyan, Head of Mining Providing Agency, Mr. Koryun Hakobyan and Marketing Director of Orange Armenia, Mr. Aram Mkrtchyan were present at the business meeting.

The sides discussed the investment opportunities of the sectors and Research and Development joint projects. Brief information on Armenia’s investment climate was presented and the members of delegation received information packages on Armenia’s economic sectors.
